Short bio:

Hey, my name is Eliana, I am from Macau and Portugal and I am in my third year of Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering. I am passionate about helping others, especially if I can facilitate their learning. I am a member of the Queen’s Baja Design Team, an engineering workshop tutor, QUIC World Link volunteer, and was a faculty executive that organized Engineering Orientation Week 2025. My past passion project was a physical architectural model of a university campus also featuring a 3D CAD of all buildings. When not focused on academics, I am often found chatting with people or partaking in my interests of videography, scrapbooking, basketball, and volleyball.

Project:

During the Summer of 2026 Eliana worked in the FEBUS lab as a Course Content Developer. She helped in designing new instructional content for courses such as MREN 241 and MREN 230. Among the material she created are:

  1. A brand-new version of the airflow in pipes lab designed specifically for the Mechatronics and Robotics program.
  2. A very engaging and interactive airflow model that builds on what Ahnaaf built the previous summer, which includes a GUI.
  3. New Latex templates for lab reports and lab manuals.
