Short bio:

Hello! My name is Angie, and I am an incoming 3rd year Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering student at Queen’s. I am an ambitious, curious, student who is passionate about biomedical and humanoid robotics. Currently I am the structures CTO for the Queen’s Biomechatronics Design Team, a varsity debater, and engineering tutor. Outside of university I also launched my first start-up, Quotable. A digital quotebook where anyone can record and share their favourite quotes. I also recently had the chance to pitch, showcase, and demo it at Web Summit Vancouver.

Project:

During the Summer of 2026 Angie worked in the FEBUS lab as a Course Content Developer. She helped in designing new instructional content for courses such as MREN 241 and MREN 230. Among the material she created are:

  1. A brand-new version of the airflow in pipes lab designed specifically for the Mechatronics and Robotics program.
  2. A very engaging and interactive airflow model that builds on what Ahnaaf built the previous summer, which includes a GUI.
  3. New Latex templates for lab reports and lab manuals.
