Background

I often ask myself “What is the purpose of my job? What is that I am trying to achieve every time I step into a classroom?”. Surprisingly enough the answer (at least for me) is not based solely on the delivery of the content and the successful completion of my duties as professor. I would like to make an impact on my students, to leave a mark.

The Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering (TRON) class of 2028 gave me a beautiful gift: a TRON-28 “Iron ring tour” signed T-shirt. This gesture for me counts more than any award I could receive, and it means that (at least for some students) I left my mark. It is the best and most rewarding feeling, and for that, THANK YOU TRON 28!
